In our company, TRESCON, hearings and assessment centres are formed, organized and facilitated as in the last selection phase it is sometimes difficult for the client to choose the most suitable employee among several candidates. "Hearing" is working with one candidate and more observers and assessors, usually for a period of two hours, while "an assessment centre" is where several candidates work in for one or two days. This is a form of practical testing of a candidate using numerous simulated business situations and tasks as well as quite common human situations. This is also an opportunity for the candidates to get to know the company and a wider circle of future closest co-workers better through tasks and "a round table" before they sign employment contracts. Usually the assessment events take place in the real work environment while the roles of observers and assessors are taken on by those employees who will work directly with the new co-worker. Relationships develop between the candidate and future co-workers, which helps us sense who the person we are looking for is. If necessary, psychological tests are available.
